Entrepreneurship Development Forum at Great Lakes presents
The intellectually stimulating, socially responsible and financially rewarding
2nd International Entrepreneurship Conference on
“Incubating Innovation & Entrepreneurship”
|
|
The Great Lakes International Entrepreneurship Conference encourages all ideas about inspiring, nurturing, supporting and ultimately incubating the Entrepreneurship in India and abroad. This involves the innovations, idea prototyping and eco-system creation for the budding entrepreneurs which may help them to attain their goals easier and faster. The conference will encompass the outlook of academicians and industrialists to present pros and cons of the present Indian Entrepreneurship platform.
The theme of Conference is encouraged from the foundation of i-Lab, an initiative of Great Lakes Entrepreneurship Development Forum to be launched on the same day, to create the missing link of Entrepreneurship. i-Lab will provide a unique platform for the idea & dressing it up into a Start firm through Business modeling. A business model describes the rationale of how organization creates, delivers, and captures value. The term business model is thus used for a broad range of informal and formal descriptions to represent core aspects of a business, including purpose, offerings, strategies, infrastructure, organizational structures, trading practices, and operational processes and policies. It is the building block for any startup firm and getting the model right for the startup is crucial. Surprisingly 99 percent of the firms have no clear framework for describing their model. i-lab will create this missing link through channelizing the ideation and business modeling process for budding entrepreneur to pave the way for success easier and faster.
The conference will address the theme in holistic manner by bringing together thought leaders from academia and real entrepreneurial ecosystem. It provides a platform to exchange and share the knowledge among the various entrepreneurial ecosystem players like entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, academic researchers, entrepreneurial professionals. The conference would comprise of keynote addresses, panel discussions and academic thought sharing presentations. Keynote speakers and members of panel discussions include faculty from famous business schools, renowned entrepreneurs, policy makers, VCs and angel investors.
